The gallery show, which is free and open to the public, is an opportunity to view the artists creations and is a silent auction fundraiser for the Cultural Trail gardens. All pieces of art are framed by The Great Frame Up in downtown Indianapolis and ready to go home with the highest bidder. Bids will start at $60 and is open until 9:30pm. If you fall in love with a piece there will be an option to “Buy it now!”.

“The Cultural Trail connects so many of our cultural institutions and galleries in downtown, I’m thrilled for the Cultural Trail to host our own gallery show during First Fridays” said Kären Haley, Executive Director, Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. “The artists have incorporated their own Cultural Trail experiences into the artwork, it’s exciting to see how unique and inspiring each piece is.”

The evening will also include a group art activity with a large map of the Cultural Trail that visitors can add their own art to, Trail themed coloring pages, a video viewing station to see and hear from Trail users, and smaller print photography also available for purchase. Cash bar will include a variety of Sun King beer, wine, and Cultural Trail Mix from Best Chocolate in Town, all available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Cultural Trail gardens.

The event is free and open to the public, Friday, October 6, from 7:00pm-10:00pm, 132 W. Walnut St, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
