Bikeshare System Grows to 27 Stations  Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. Indiana Pacers Bikeshare Balances Bikes with Bikes

New Bike Trailers Make Operations More Efficient INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. We hosted the first annual Winter Warm Up and over 100 of you ran with us on that frigid day in February, a study by the IU Public Policy Institute was released demonstrating the incredible economic impact of the Trail and Pacers Bikeshare ridership soared to over 190,000 trips! But the true heroes that rarely receive media frenzy are our hundreds of volunteers that assist in our ongoing efforts to keep the Trail clean, well maintained, and safe for all users! There is something new to see on the Cultural Trail! Topiary, designed and built by Eric Nordgulen is a part of The Public Collection, which was officially unveiled at an event on Monument Circle Thursday. The Public Collection is a public art and literacy project developed by Rachel Simon to improve literacy, foster a deeper appreciation of the arts, and raise awareness for educational justice in our community.  Books are supplied by the Indianapolis Public Library. Free Pacers Bikeshare August 1-2 Kicks Off One Million Calorie Challenge

The One Million Calories Campaign challenges the Indianapolis community to burn one million calories using Pacers Bikeshare bikes during the month of August. Indianapolis Cultural Trail is a Key Economic and Community Driver

On July 23, ICT, Inc. and the IU Public Policy Institute held a press conference to announce and celebrate the many ways, economic and other, that the Indianapolis Cultural Trail has impacted the city. The findings, from a report by the Institute on the initial economic and community impact of the Trail, found that property assessments within one block of the eight-mile Trail have increased 148% since 2008, an increase of $1 billion in assessed property value.
