PNC Grant to Expand EveryBody Rides Program

Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. received a $12,000 grant from PNC Bank. The grant will expand access for low-income residents to Pacers Bikeshare through ICT, Inc.’s “EveryBody Rides” program. “EveryBody Rides” aims to give EveryBody, regardless of gender, age, race, income-level, shape, and size, access to the gold Pacers Bikeshare bikes in downtown Indianapolis. The program offers low-income residents subsidized passes to Pacers Bikeshare through partnerships with the Indianapolis Housing Agency, Volunteers of America, and other location-based organizations and properties that serve low-income residents and are located in close proximity to the bike share system. Indiana Pacers Bikeshare Balances Bikes with Bikes

New Bike Trailers Make Operations More Efficient INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. Free Pacers Bikeshare August 1-2 Kicks Off One Million Calorie Challenge

The One Million Calories Campaign challenges the Indianapolis community to burn one million calories using Pacers Bikeshare bikes during the month of August. To kick off the campaign, digital technology company UST Global is providing free access to the bikeshare program on the opening weekend of the campaign, August 1st and 2nd, 2015. Teen Works + The Cultural Trail

This summer, ICT, Inc. is lucky to have 13 central Indy high schoolers working with us to maintain the Trail and help manage the bikeshare program. TeenWorks is a program for selected high schoolers to gain professional experience and college readiness training throughout the summer. Since 1981, TeenWorks has provided real world work experience, college readiness programs and supportive services for Indianapolis teenagers. While earning a paycheck, the high schoolers learn leadership skills, gain exposure to a professional working environment, participate in volunteer activities and receive six weeks of college prep instruction in areas including presentations, reports, finances and team building....

Its 4th of July weekend and we’re gearing up here for what is expected to be our busiest weekend yet for Pacers Bikeshare! Last year over 5,000 trips were taken during the week of July 4th weekend with over 1,000 Day Pass users roaming downtown Indianapolis on our 250 gold bikes.
