Garden on the Trail

Join the Indianapolis Cultural Trail horticulture team for a hands-on morning of caring for one of Indianapolis’s most unique public spaces!

Volunteers will assist with seasonal gardening and trail stewardship projects such as weeding, mulching, planting, litter removal, and general landscape maintenance. This volunteer opportunity is open to anyone ages 14 and older. No experience is necessary—we’ll provide tools, gloves, and guidance.

Volunteer shifts are approximately 3 hours. Locations will vary throughout the Trail, and registered volunteers will receive specific meeting location details from our horticulture team during the week of the event.

Come get your hands dirty, learn from our expert staff, and help keep the Trail beautiful for everyone to enjoy!
