Hike with a Horticulturist – Indy Cultural Trail Lunch Time Walking Tour

Step outside and into the lush, living landscape of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail for a midday refresh that’s anything but ordinary. Join us for Hike with a Horticulturist, a FREE guided walk that invites you to slow down, soak in the scenery, and meet the talented team behind the Trail’s vibrant plant life.

This 35-minute walk is perfect for your lunch break and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the 5+ acres of beautifully curated urban greenspace that make up the Cultural Trail. You’ll learn how our horticulture team chooses plants for ecological impact, what native species thrive in city environments, and how the Trail’s landscaping approach has evolved over time.

Whether you’re a seasoned plant lover or just looking for a new way to enjoy your lunch hour, this walk will leave you with fresh inspiration (and maybe a few garden tips to take home, too).
