Viernes Cultural: Latin Night at Lugar Plaza

Join the Indianapolis Cultural Trail for a FREE celebration of Latin culture with live music, dancing, art, and food at Viernes Cultural: Latin Night at Lugar Plaza. Enjoy the live music from Hombres sin Nombre and Son de Esquina, two of Indy’s most popular Latin bands,  learn new dance moves from Jen Gaskill during a FREE  beginner-friendly salsa lesson, and discover unique finds at Merecadito de Arte in coordination with Arte Mexicano en Indiana. Whether you have two left feet or an experienced dancer, Viernes Cultural is a perfect way to start the weekend!

Food and beverage will be available to hungry dancers  to purchase on site from The Garnacha Spot and Just Call Kate Mobile Libations. Plan to bring a lawn chairs or blanket to take a break from dancing and dine al fresco. Yard games and other kid-friendly activities will also be out to enjoy.

This family-friendly event is completely FREE, but we do ask that you register so we can plan accordingly.  So bring your friends, family, and your dancing shoes for an unforgettable night of live music, dance, and community. ¡Hasta pronto!

Viernes Cultural: Latin Night at Lugar Plaza is made possible through a partnership between the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and Downtown Indy Alliance, Big Car Collaborative, and the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development. The dance lesson is sponsored by Indiana Donor Network.
