On August 27, 2015, we celebrated the completion of the renovation of our office space at 132 W Walnut St! The former warehouse space was chosen prior to the launch of Pacers Bikeshare in March of 2014 as a large covered area to build and store the 250 gold bikes arriving in our city.
During the winter of 2014/15, the space was renovated to its existing beauty. This would not have been possible without the support of our generous donors and partners!
In October of 2015, Rowland Design was recognized for their “Innovative Reuse” of the building at the Monumental Awards hosted by Indy Chamber.
Program Excerpt:
“Rowland Design won the Honor Award for Innovative Reuse by transforming an abandoned service station into the Cultural Trail HQ and Indiana Pacers Bikeshare Operations Center. The small interior was efficiently redesigned as staff office space. Bikes are maintained on-site, and the “patio” doors give a nod to the building’s former purpose in the neighborhood.” (Real Estate People, 2015) |
